1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using UrbanBoma, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Kenya to use UrbanBoma. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
4. Property Listings
Landlords and agents who list properties on UrbanBoma are responsible for ensuring that all listing information is accurate, truthful, and compliant with Kenyan property laws. Fraudulent listings will result in immediate account termination.
5. Payments & Fees
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Booking fees and rental payments are processed in Kenyan Shillings via M-Pesa. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
6. Prohibited Activities
You may not use UrbanBoma for any unlawful purpose, to post fraudulent listings, to harass other users, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or to violate any applicable laws or regulations.
7. Limitation of Liability
UrbanBoma is a platform connecting landlords and tenants. We are not a party to any rental agreement between users. We are not liable for any disputes between landlords and tenants, property damage, or losses arising from transactions made through the platform.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may also close your account at any time from your account settings.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
